Pencil + 3 is a non-photorealistic shader plug-in for 3ds Max that  produces pencil sketch-like strokes. It produces images that look like  pen drawings or color pencils as well as flat  presentations similar to  animation cels.

”Lines”: They are essential for non-photorealistic rendering. Pencil+  performs high speed rendering of intersecting lines between objects,  etc. It offers plenty of features suitable for animation, such as pen  pressure simulation, a distinctive characteristic of hand drawn style  illustrations; using a texture map to adjust the thickness of the lines  of special sections in model data and more. Beautiful line drawings,  even technical illustrations using hidden lines, are realized using  simple settings.
