SIMULIA V5 enables users to perform nonlinear and thermal analysis directly on their CATIA geometry by leveraging robust Abaqus FEA technology.

The Rule Based Meshing product enables the creation of rules to automate mesh creation. The product suite enables designers to gain higher-fidelity, realistic simulation results and rapidly make design modifications to enhance their product’s real-world performance.

With SIMULIA Extended Analysis nonlinear and thermal analyses can be performed rapidly on models from simple parts to complex assemblies. Robust Abaqus FEA technology combined in the CATIA environment makes SIMULIA Extended Analysis particularly suitable for designers looking to add higher fidelity to their design simulations.

SIMULIA provides complete design-integrated simulation capabilities within the CATIA V5 design environment. Designers can use the familiar CATIA user interface to perform analysis directly on their master reference model in CATIA. Data integrity issues are avoided since there is no transfer and translation of geometry.

The combined CATIA Analysis and the SIMULIA Extended Analysis product suites have been developed for designers and engineers who need to accurately size their designs and quickly evaluate their real world performance during the design phase.
