Organic Loops proudly presents a brand new collection of hot and funky drum loops, featuring live acoustic drums performed by Trevor Smith, alongside a wonderful collection of programmed drum loops which kick back to classic House drum breaks.

Acoustic Funk Drums feature over 700 individual loops recorded between 72 and 160 BPM. The 707 Loops break down into 49 Live Acoustic Grooves, as played by Trevor Smith, whose 25-year career has including him playing and recording with great artist such as Mark King (Level 42), Glen Tilbrook (Squeeze), Edwin Collins and singer/songwriter Nick Heywood, just to name a few.

The collection also features 25 Retro Classic House breaks programmed by Paul Joyner, who switched from keyboard player to sound designer after a chance meeting with Paul White (Editor Sound on Sound Magazine), and since that time, has recorded and produced for many broadcasting companies and independent labels. Paul also used his production skills to mix and master the numerous drum takes from Trevor’s session.

Each Groove here has been played or programmed over numerous bars, and chopped into shorter 2 bar loops, so they can be easy arranged and remixed to suit your production, but we have also supplied the full loop for producers who prefer to do their own edits.

Expect to find perfectly mixed Live Soulful Funky breaks, suitable for Funk, Soul, House, Breaks, DnB and Hip Hop, plus an exclusive set of 90's House-inspired programmed breaks, that can be used alongside a 4x4 Kick to give your production that classic House drum feel.
