In this class project you are required to create an adventure Character for an animation or story of some sort.

You are welcome to follow the video class as a guide and post your progress to the Class Project as you go. The Getting started points below give you a frame work for you to develop the character.

Getting Started

For this project the character must be based on any animal.

- We are using the provided mood board and a lion as reference.

- If you decide to use any other animal then create a mood board that reflects your preference.

PROPORTIONS.

In this project we are creating a character based on a proportion of 4-5 heads tall.

This character will be the main personage of an adventure story.

Theme.

You may want to consider the following themes as the style background for the character. The following are some ideas to help you frame the world/epoch he/she belongs to. Here are some ideas: Oriental, Medieval/Fantasy or Sci-fi.

Outfit and Asset.

Outfit. The character must have and outfit that reflects the world he/she belongs to. I.e. if the character belongs or comes from an oriental world then it should be reflected to a degree on his/her outfit.

Asset. The character will need some sort of asset or gadget to help him/her not the journey. This could be a sword, a book, a talisman, a high-tech compass, a skate board, etc. Use your imagination to come up with something that would be valuable to the character and help him/her along the journey.
