To say Prashant Aswani shreds is a bold understatement. This L.A. based musician rocks out in metal artist study lessons on George Lynch, Randy Rhoads, AC/DC, and Megadeth.
Guitar virtuoso Prashant Aswani has created a pairing of technique and tone that is truly one of a kind. Prashant grew up inspired by the work of legends like AC/DC and Ozzy Osborne, and began crafting his own style at a very early age. After demonstrating impressive skills in local bands growing up, Prashant headed to the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA to take his musicianship to the next level.
Today Prashant can be found performing sold-out tours around the world, recently performing at the Billboard Music Awards with pop idol Justin Timberlake, and lending his chops to diverse catalog of recordings. During the last couple of years alone, Prashant has appeared on nine albums worldwide, among them: Greg Howe's latest two CD's, "Ascend" and "Hyperacuity"; Diaz's project, "Devotion", which also features jazz legend Herbie Hancock; a 2001 Jeff Beck tribute CD featuring other well-known guitarists; and an Indian fusion project with world-renowned bansuri (bamboo flute) player Ronu Majumdar.
