In this Sketchvlog I decided to delve into the direct to canvas method of illustration. The first time I saw this done was when I discovered the art of Kim Jung Gi. His ability to literally spill what was in his mind out directly on the page left me both amazed and motivated.

Here you will see me create an illustration without sketching, erasing, or using reference. I feel like this process can initially be a bit scary, but once you truly let go and let your mind spill onto the page you may be amazed at the results!
