Welcome to the 2nd part of the “Master Color in Photoshop CC” course!

The course focuses on a powerful impact that color has on a photography medium. Color can make or break your image - learn how to use it and get impressive results.

In this class we will take a deep dive into the impact that color has on photographic composition. We will also explore the idea of visual weight. I will explain how light affects color in photos. We will discuss how even small change of camera's angle against the light source can change color in images. We will close this class by analysing several examples of images and the way they can be incorporated in visual storytelling.

In the hands-on part of the course (4 & 5 part), first we will be working with a female portrait and we will quite dramatically enhance colors in the image. We will apply the basic principles of complementary colors harmony.

The second image we will be working with is a male portrait, and we will color grade this photo to get a rich, saturated look built with dark colors. At the end of the entire course you will be able to make conscious artistic decisions to enhance your artwork, based on color theory. I will show you the most powerful photoshop techniques that target color grading, starting from RAW conversion. We will work with high quality supporting materials, so you will be able to follow me along and progress in no time!
