Spark is in memory distributed computing framework in Big Data eco system and Scala is programming language. It is one of the hottest technologies in Big Data as of today. This course will cover how to use Spark core APIs to develop applications using Scala as programming language. The methodology of the course will be hands on where students are expected to watch the content and practice hands on. Most of the content will be in videos, where ever it is necessary code snippets are shared.
