The Visual Studio debugger is a wonderful tool for native debugging. However, Microsoft has another debugger, WinDBG, that’s developed by the Windows operating system team. While WinDBG is mainly used for device driver development, it’s a perfectly capable user-mode debugger, and it happens to have some very interesting super powers.
