Autodesk发布自家公司的的游戏引擎Stingray。
最早在3月份Autodesk就宣布将要推出Stingray,其实早在2014年Autodesk就收购一个名叫Butsquid的引擎——它存在已经好几年时间了。
基于Butsquid的引擎,较著名的像是射击游戏《地狱潜者(Helldivers)》。
Autodesk的游戏负责人Frank Delise表示,Butsquid的核心没有做出什么较大改变。
不过在其他方面就有变化了,像是用了不同的界面,而且和Autodesk的设计工具结合得更加紧密。
很难说Stingray能让游戏做到何等程度,但从截屏来看似乎还挺不错。
据说游戏开发团队以及艺术家、动画师和纹理设计师都可以非常轻松地实时预览其工作内容。
比如说在Maya中构建或修改一个角色,它几乎可以立即在Stingray的编辑器中展示出来。
另外还有虚拟拖拽编程工具,在无需学习Lua脚本语言的情况下就能完成一些简单的任务。

基础支持是30美元一个月,如果是长期购买的话会有优惠,针对学生则有免费的选择。

Autodesk同时也表示,今年晚些时间,Stingray会包含在轻量级的Maya LT订阅中。
