GIF'ted 1.0.2 | MacOSX | 16.8 Mb
Turn your MPEG-4 movies into sleek animated GIF's in no time. GIF'ted will analyze your source movie's colours to make the best looking GIF's ever. Or use a classic palette, for example from Gameboy or SNES, for wacky and fun results. You can also trim and crop the output GIF to fit your needs.
Load and preview MPEG-4 files before transforming them into animated GIFs
Right off the bat, GIF'ted prompts you to start by opening a video file: the app keeps track of previously used movies and delivers quick access to them. GIF'ted should be able to work with any MPEG-4 format, such as MOV, M4V, or MP4.
Worth mentioning is that GIF'ted can open multiple files at the same time: it will simply launch a new window for each video.
The GIF'ted app offers you the possibility to preview the content and delivers straightforward playback controls: play and pause, skip back or forward, adjust the volume, AirPlay to other devices, or jump through the video with the help of a slider bar.
Trim the video, crop the image, and export the output to the GIF file format
GIF'ted integrates a simple trim tool and comes with built-in cropping presets (square, 16:9, 4:3, or 3:2). Give the minimalist approach, finding your way around the GIF'ted should be rather straightforward.
Once you are satisfied with the output, just press the Export button, and you will be able to set the file name, output location, FPS value, output width, the color palette you want to employ, and if you want the animation in a loop or not.
Make your own GIF animations starting from MPEG-4 video files
Bottom line, GIF'ted delivers a streamlined environment where you can process videos and transform them into animated GIFs. You get to work on multiple projects at the same time, and you have the option to trim the recording or crop the image.
Furthermore, GIF'ted also integrates beautiful color palettes so you can make sure your animated GIFs look their best.
