For the first sample collection in this series, we visited Gradwell House Recording Studios in New Jersey with Leonard “Pudge” Tribbett.

Equipped with a large live-room, a control with a vintage SSL console, API outboard preamps, and the best ribbon mics money can afford, we recorded a little over 51 loops (each in 3 different textures, totaling 153 loops in all), and 35 one-shots.

Each groove comes straight from the incredible mind and steady hand of Pudge, who is known for his clean pocket and unshakable concentration since his early days with Tye Tribbett and G.
