Thinkbox Software公司近日发布了一款针对3ds Max的最新产品Stoke MX,它又被称为3ds Max中的粒子模拟器或粒子回流工具,是为了简化和加快大量高速粒子云的创作过程而设计的。
利用Stoke MX可实现加速的粒子来源包括3ds Max中的粒子流模拟、空间扭曲,以及thinkingParticles、FumeFX等第三方工具,并支持KrakatoaPRT格式和RealFlow BIN格式文件,这些粒子还可以在单一的模拟环境进行混合和搭配。
事实上,Stoke MX可以用低密度的模拟环境驱动高密度的模拟环境。
据Thinkbox软件公司透露,Stoke MX可以同步输送成千上万个粒子,还可以同时作用于不同源粒子,在密集粒子云状态下制作出流体运动的逼真效果。
Thinkbox声称,Stoke MX可以使原有的粒子、网格容量、几何表面放射出新的粒子(或是粒子结构的物体譬如说PRT毛发)以便增强模拟物的密度。
而这款软件增加低粒子模拟物的粒子量的速度,要比通过原系统模拟高粒子数的粒子云速度快七倍之多。
